Bow-hunting season for deer and turkey resumes Dec. 23, 2020 and continues through Jan. 31, 2021 with hunting permitted Monday through Thursday in several Lyme preserves. These preserves, which are owned by the Town of Lyme or the Lyme Land Conservation Trust, will remain open to all users during bow hunting season. Please note that no hunting is allowed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays during bow season.

Eno Preserve
Hand-Smith
Honey Hill Preserve
Jewett Preserve
Johnston Preserve
Mount Archer Woods
Pickwick’s Preserve ( privately owned)
Plimpton Preserve
Slawson Preserve
Hikers and other users are encouraged to practice caution and wear bright colors on all the preserves during the hunting season as adjacent public and private lands allow hunting.
Permits for hunting on these preserves are granted by the Town of Lyme Open Space
