Celebrate the spring equinox with a flower walk along the Young Preserve trail in Lyme, CT.
Each participant will carry a flower as we slowly walk among the laurels and rock outcroppings of Young Preserve. Periods of reflection in the landscape will be offered as well as a guided meditation honoring this time of year. Gently welcome the balance of the day, feel renewed energy, and prepare to turn outward to the longer days of light ahead. Flowers will be provided for you to carry and take home. If you wish to bring your own, please do. The walk is about 1-mile over easy to moderate terrain. Young Preserve | Lyme Land Trust

Regan Stacy is the founder of Awaken the Forest Within, an organization that offers forest bathing walks. Forest bathing is a supportive practice that invites us to slow down, open our senses, and engage with nature and ourselves as we take in the restorative health benefits of being in the forest. These benefits include lowered stress, blood pressure, and heart rate, increased creativity and focus, and a boost to our immune system. Leave calm and refreshed for the day ahead.
