Our remarkable success in preserving land over many years has inevitably resulted in increased operating expenses. Even though half the households in Town are dues paying members, these expenses greatly exceed our returns from membership dues alone.

To help make up this difference, we formed the President’s Circle consisting of members with an elevated commitment to the mission of their Land Trust who donate $1,000 or more annually.

President’s Circle members get together annually with each other and Land Trust board members for an optional hike and social event.  They hear first hand of the accomplishments and plans of the Land Trust and give us advice on improvements we can make.

Being able to depend on these generous community leaders, enables us to continue the good work we are doing. Equally importantly, we gain a valued source of informed input as we navigate our way through new challenges and explore new opportunities.

It is a remarkable demonstration of their conservation values that we have over 50 President’s Circle members.  We would be pleased to have you join as well!
